Cedar Surfboards featured on UK surf site “A1 Surf”

Sustainable surf equipment has come under the media spotlight in recent years, largely due to the closure of Clark Foam. We as surfers are experiencing a renaissance in the way we think about our equipment and our environment. People are becoming more and more open to different shapes and construction methods, and are accepting the need for more sustainable boards.

Cedar Surfboards has been getting some of this great exposure in recent weeks, and demand and interest from Great Britain has rocketed largely due to an article on UK surf site “a1surf”. See the full article at www.a1surf.com/cgi-bin/newssurf/newsscript.pl?.record=155 . We have had positive feedback and requests for new board models including a rhino chaser. Wood lends itself really well to this type of board because of the increased strength over foam, and we look forward to some experimentation soon.
